Straight Donation Drive
Every    Dollar    Makes    a    Difference    
 “Hugo Reid Annual Straight Donation Drive” 

Our PTSA spends approximately $200.00 per student per year. In order to help fund programs like the Bug Man, Character Counts assemblies, Reflections, Rolling Readers, Rocky’s Readers, Movie Nights, Intercultural Night, Book Battles, Musical Theater, Picnics, help with Field Trips, Red Ribbon Week, and special assemblies etc.,
we are asking for straight donations. 

How to donate......

Rocky’s Fundraiser Insurance - Donate $180 dollars or more per student and you will be exempt from PTSA Fundraisers (i.e.First Aid Kits, See’s Candy, Jelly Belly/Popcornopolis, but NOT Carnival/ Student Council/Fifth Grade Fundraisers) that occur throughout the rest of the 2015-2016 school year. You will also receive 1 Teacher Playdate Raffle ticket per $180 donation to be used at the Carnival .
Rocky’s Balancing Act - Donate $75-$100 per student, and continue to participate in PTSA fundraisers for 2015-2016 school year and receive 5 game tickets per donation to be used at the Carnival in the Spring of 2016.
Rocky’s 50/50 - Donate $50 dollars per student and continue to participate in the other PTSA Fundraisers offered throughout the 2015-2016 school year in order for us to be able to continue to provide the programs listed above.
Your student will receive one free dress pass from Miss Leahy.

HOW IT WORKS.... The drive begins on August 18 and ends September 17, 2015. All you have to do is place your donation in the envelope provided with your student’s Name and Teacher/classroom written on it and bring it to Raider Days and place it in the Straight Donation Drive Box. Should you choose to turn in your donation after Raider Days, we ask that you either turn it into the school office or have your child give it to his/her teacher to be turned in. Checks should be made payable to Hugo Reid PTSA.

• There is NO selling 
• 100% of the money goes back to the PTSA to use for our school programs listed above.
• If you work for a company who will match your donation, just contact us.
We will get you the information you need to get us more money.
• It’s a great idea to ask Aunts, Uncles, or Grandparents for a donation to your school. 
• The kids can donate too! 
• You can earn Fundraiser Insurance! 
• Each class with 100% participation will be entered into a
drawing to win a Root Beer Float party!

There will be a thermometer in the front of the school and on classroom doors to show how 
our community is doing!!
